Title: Which row to connect RGYB on chassis, does it matter?
Post by: markymarky99 on January 20, 2006, 04:03:16 am
HI, just received a discount monitor from Ebay.  Of course, no directions.  I know where the wires from the tube go onto the chassis except for the RED, GREEN, YELLOW,BLUE hookup.  There are 2 rows of four poles on the chassis, how do I know which row to insert the plug in to, and, does it matter ?  Why is there 2 rows?  Also, once I have the right row, what is the order of insertion ?  If I put it on wrong, is the picture just going to not look right or will there be any damage?  Thanks for your time!

Ps, I have no idea what type of monitor it is, as usual, just a generic old picture tube with a new chassis of some sort.

Thats your scan coil plug, you cant plug that in wrong because the pins are offset-the only thing you will get is possilbly an upside down picture, but then you just plug into the other connector.
