Title: Where 1UP player came from

Can someone tell me why the 1Player button looks like a men's toilet icon?
And worse than that, the 2Player like a homo's toilet icon, 3-4Player (Unthinkable)

It's even better when it's the Atari start guy.  He's so gay, he's doing the YMCA.

My older kid kinda braggs about the "Machine my father's building".
So, a few of his class friends came yesterday, and they saw the cp with all the buttons, and one of them goes "WOW, that's neat. Do you push that white button if you need to go to the toilet ?"  ::)
