That sucks! Sorry to hear about the accident.

Thats the worst when your kids get hurt. I'm surprised mine haven't had any stitches yet the way they bounce around the house.
Looks like he was quite the little trooper at the hospital, holding still and all.

Oops. Hope he feels better. Believe it or not, kids that get small injuries like that are better off in the long run. They won't freak completely out if something happens when they're older.

Peale, I did the same thing when I was 4, put one of my front teeth right through my bottom lip when I tripped and did a faceplant on our hearth. Not to worry you or anything, but I have a bump on my lip to this day.
Don't worry though, just tell him chicks dig scars. ;D

When my middle daughter (now 13) was 3 her older brother tripped her by the stairs which she fell into and she bit her bottom lip completely in half.
Required stitches but the small scar these days is hardly noticable.
They had to knock her out to stitch her....I was holding her in my arms when they gave her the anesthesia.....she went limp in a matter of seconds....
....that was freaky. Like your kid dying in your arms.
He looks like a trooper.

OUCH!! Glad to hear he'll be ok

Take that picture into work and tell mumbles that kid only gave you half the lip he does.
