One thing I'm very surprised at is the lack of XBOX Emulation on PC's.
For a while there, there was a ton of progress w/ Xeon and CXBX, even playable Halo, then NOTHING. Xbox emulation dropped off the face of the planet.
Does anyone know what the hell happened? Did Microsoft drop the hammer? It seems that the most "emulation" that would have to happen is on the graphics side, and with the power of todays graphics cards I don't see how it would be an impossible task. The processor is x86 so there'd be very little if any cpu translation going on.
Does anyone know what the deal is?

My guess is that XBox's are attainable so cheaply as of late that people just gave up and bought them.

Its more fun to put an emulator on your xbox than to emulate the xbox on your PC, though in 3 years, I'll be hoping for progress with Xeon.

I would have to say that with the giant harddrives coming out now, I would prefer the xbox on the cp since I don't want to change discs out.

You mean like you can already do with giant harddrives on a modded Xbox?

Have you guys even seen how horrible Xbox360 is emulating some games? Ouch... no ninja Gaiden or Fable for awhile... :-\
