Title: trackball problem : update!!!

I started a trackball post a few weeks ago and I just wanted to give you an update. Here is the original thread http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=48113.0  .
I got the happ goldent tee trackball with the optipac and it did NOT fix the problem. I am still having the same problem. What is going on. I even switched computers and the problem still did not go away. Golden tee is unplayable.
When the trackball is spun to fast it doesnt register. It worked fine for 3 months and then started giving me poblems. Any other suggestions would be appriciated.

This may be way out in left field but have you checked the condition of the encoder wheeel?  If it were to losen up it would not give proper results when the ball is spun fast and hard.
