Title: DC in a arcade cabinet
Post by: canardo on February 08, 2003, 04:19:25 pm
Hi I have a cocktail cabinet with a ipac interfacing to a pc

now I would quite like to share the controls to a dreamcast is it possible via a connector of some sort to have a quick plug into ipac or dc set of controls if that makes sense

ie all controls goto a junction that you then plug in being whether you want the dc or ipac

next thing is it possible to replace the dc cd drive with a atapi style one (even replace the pc internals with the gd rom or use cdr rips of games) so that it can be possible to have a tray mechanism to load the games in with

There have been a whole bunch of threads recently on DC controls with ipacs. The consensus is the best solution is to use a quick connect to plug in one interface at a time.
