Title: how well would AMD Sempron 64 cpu work with mame and daphne?

how well are they compared to AMD XP/64 etc...?

Should be better than an XP, worse than a 64.  They're exactly the same as a 64, except with only 1/4th of the Level 2 cache.  Should work great for mame.

id also like to add that you wont see a difference, unless you use amd 64 build of mame, albeit very little, but still better than a generic build.
