Lots of LEDs, and most +6V rated incandescent lights will run off of the +5v from a computer power supply.  I'm not sure how much extra load a console power supply  can take though.  Incandescent lights will burn with any current through them, but brightest at their rating (or above their rating, but only until they quickly burn out), so they might be 5/6ths as bright as possible with +5V instead of +6V.

LEDs may need the current stepped down to their rating with resistors.

Hope it helps, sounds like a cool project.

Standard lightbulb (ie. it has a filament that glows when current flows across it).
