Post by: JackTucky on January 11, 2006, 04:05:42 pm
Looking for recommendations on a good, free, easy, linux firewall solution.

Right now I'm downloading Sentry.

Thanks

Ack!  Forgot I need two network cards.  I was going to use this Compaq Ipaq I have.

Damn.  Off to find another PC in the basement.

Got a couple of free Pc's from my father in laws work.  One was pretty decent, XP Pro and Office still loaded :o

The other (I dropped it in the garage) ::)  still works and was some crappy win 98 pc.  It's running Smoothwall right now.

Pretty cool.  Fast.  EASY to setup.

Not sure if there are any benefits over using my wireless router, but the geek factor is worth it for now.

Compaq made a PC right before with that name.  I might be the only one who has one.
