Well, it is a sad day for me....I've decided to sell on my cabinet. With recent circumstances changing, I'm having to get rid of gear to fund new equipment for my life-long hobby (writing music). It's upsetting, but the missus is now gearing up for it's departure, too. So, I want to give it a good home.
You can find details (and many pics) about the cab in my build thread, here:
Arc-Eden Details (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=22149.0)
Obviously, this will only be available to UK peeps, and is for local pickup only.
Everything is in top condition including custom control panel. Includes 25" SCART TV, Tinted Glass and a full compliment of high-quality controls (See build thread control panel pics). There is currently no PC in the cab (had to use the PC for setting up a Domain Controller on my LAN). However, I will throw in an ATX case, ABit Board, Athlon 1900, 40GB Drive, Arcade-VGA etc. So basically, you have more or less everything you need. I will also throw in a set of Cambridge Soundworks satellite speakers and subwoofer.
The cab cost well over

Wow...I remember reading your posts in the project section and thinking what a great cabinet this turned out to be. Sorry to hear you've got to let it go---hope it finds a good home.

It must be like selling your children. :'(

hi,
can you tell me the size of the unit, and if you can email me some pics, as i am in class at the moment and the pics of ur website are not coming up.....
would really like to see the cab, i wouldnt mind taking it off your hand as i still need afew more cabs to finish of my boys room... :)

@Frosty: Me too mate
@BrokenBones: Yep, it really is mate...I mentioned it as a 'possibility' to my wife and then she just 'assumed' that it was a 'definite' (if you know what I mean). So sad to see it go, but I have another plan up my sleeve - I'm thinking of building arcade controls into a new computer/music desk that I'm building...this way there is no chance of the missus objecting as it won't be encroaching into the room "taking up space" Sure, it won't be a cabinet, but I will still be able to blast away any time I want...could be cool.
@Harpal: I will email you plenty pics over later this evening. Just let me know if you are interested. The cabinet has hardly received much use, the reason being..I've been so busy with work, and loads of work going on around my home (still loads to be done), but as I say, everything is in top condish.
Take care peeps

I'll 2nd Frosty's comments. I followed your construction of this cab and I have to say that it looks great. Sorry you have to let it go.

I was nearly in tears last night, tell ya. :(
@Harpal: Just remembered (regarding why the pics wouldn't load for you) - I'm having my domain (arcadianz.co.uk) transferred in from my old ISP (plus.net) to my new ISP (zen)...so until this has completed, you won't be able to access. I have all the pics on my HDD, though, so will email some later.
cheers for the condolences, guys

Hi Harpal,
Yes, you'd most certainly need a van to pick the cab up. It's based on the Ultimate Arcade II..it's a full-sized upright cab. I really don't know regarding a price - As I said, it cost well over a grand to make and a hell of a lot of hard work went into it. I wouldn't expect to get top whack for it, but at the same time I don't want to let it go for too little.
Anyone help me in setting a price...what do these things usually go for?

Bump - Looks like no-one is biting. I think I'll stick the cabinet on ebay, will probably have more luck that way. I'm hoping to

I think it is a great buy it now price for the cab, cheap if anything IMO considering the quality of the cab and everything you have included with it.
