I remember when HowardC said

I think your new site is great, I just don't expect anyone to come to it.  Over the years I have seen literally hundreds of emu and arcade cab related websites.  Only three have ever made any real impact....  retrogames, mameworld and here.

Expanded magazine will cater to retro-gamers, home game room enthusiasts and
coin-op collectors

Steele Publishing, LLC announces today that it has completed the acquisition
of GameRoom Magazine, which will join RetroBlast as part of the Steele
Publishing Family. Steele's plan to expand and update the magazine includes
adding consumer retrogaming news and articles alongside GameRoom's
industry-leading coverage targeting coin-op, video arcade, and pinball game
collectors.
Planned changes to GameRoom Magazine include expanded coverage of consumer
retro-games, emulation, and the rapidly growing home arcade market.
Additionally, the magazine will be moving to a higher-quality print process,
with high-gloss paper and additional color. A new RetroBlast column will
also be featured in future issues of GameRoom Magazine.

I would be willing to bet that Gameroom subscriptions will become a regular item in the RetroBlast contests. ;)
