Ok so maybe I made it in Photoshop, but they need to get on this. Who really has fond memories of the Famicom.
I hadn't seen anyone else do a mock-up on the NES faceplate so I made one, came out pretty nice looking I think.

Neat idea.

Seriously....send it into Nintendo. It can't hurt!....I would buy one.

Nice job. If you hadn't said that it was your own, I probably could have been fooled.

I really wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo already has something like this in the works. Nintendo knows how valuable their retro stuff is.

I wish Nintendo actually made one that looked like that, i'd be all over it.

I also wish they sold the Final Fantasy IV one seperately over here.

I have seen one like that actually.

I saw it at an "import" store around this area called Pandora's Cube.

Thanks for the comments.
I was thinking about doing a really high quality version of it and then get one of those Skin companies to make it for me. Although none of the Micros have red buttons, but that’s nothing a little vinyl dye wouldn't cure.

Markman - Yeah they need to release the FFIV faceplate by itself. Maybe they will do it after they are done robbing people for 200 dollars for the FFIV GBM bundle.

Versapak - Really was it that or was it the Famicom, because I looked on all my import sites and google for an hour or 3 and couldn't find it or any reference to it being real, I want one. Could you go to the store and look up its PN or anything that might help me find it on the internet?
