Hey guys,
I have the Happ Analog flight stick with the two buttons as seen here:
http://www.happcontrols.com/joysticks/95006500.htm
For certain reasons, I decided to mount this under my control panel. As a result I have a big hole cut out of my CP top to allow the stick to move through its full movement.
Is there a place where I can buy a plastic washer to put around the shaft of the stick and sit above the CP in order to cover the hole. This would be similar to the dust washer thing that is on normal joysticks.
I tried a couple hardware shops around here as well as the home improvement stores with no luck.
I am thinking it would need to be about 3-3.5" in diameter and have an 3/4" - 1" hole in the center for the flight stick shaft.
Thanks,
- Scott

1) Go to hobby/craft/hardware store.
2) Get whatever thickness of Styrene you'd prefer.
3) Cut out circle in middle and outer diameter
4)...
5) Profit :)
That's the best idea I have... I'm not sure where you could find them otherwise.

How about a plastic coffee can lid or some such cut to your needs? Just a thought.

I have some black plastic left. I don't remember where it came from but it is textured and looks a lot like the typical dust washer plastic. I don't have a step bit to drill out the center larger than 3/4" so that would be the limit there. I believe I have a circle cutter for a ~3" outer too. Paypal me $2 and I'll mail it out to you. Let me know.

Bob Roberts sells them for a buck.

I looked at the exploded view of that stick. Looks like there is a dust washer inside the stick. Could you take that out and use it?

Great point. Happ's item number for it is 95-7007-00. Its like 30 cents on their site if you wanted to get another one. Just double check that its larger than the hole you cut in your CP.
