Title: Illuminated Joystick Handles
Post by: fatfingers on January 04, 2006, 03:43:34 pm
Hello all.  Please be nice to me and my ignorance...I'm a first-timer!

I see bits and pieces around here about illuminated and/or translucent joystick handles, but there doesn't seem to be information for what I want (which probably means it doesn't exist), but I'll ask anyway.

Has anyone successfully modified Ultimarc Mag-Stick Plus,  Mag-Stick Plus BallTop, E-Sticks, T-Sticks, or J-Sticks to have illuminated joystick handles?  I see reference to lots of things working with Happ joysticks, but not Ultimarc.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I have not seen any custom third-party shafts (illuminated, translucent, or otherwise) for the Ultimarc joysticks.

Are you in Europe and wanting to order your joysticks from Ultimarc?

I just like the sound of the easy 4-8way switching that Ultimarc has on their joysticks.

The GroovyGameGear OmniStik and OmniStik Prodigy have 4-8 way switching capabilities comprable to Ultimarc, and translucent handles are available with those.  Nothing illuminated, though.

Be aware that the T-Stick Plus has a very stiff, short throw.

Thanks for all of the info.  I will hopefully be able to find something to suit my tastes.
