Title: Help with planning Vert cab
Post by: dmsuchy on January 03, 2006, 02:45:59 pm
I startin to plan my next cab which will be a verticle monitor cab dedicated to playing only verticle games. I already plan on it having one joystick and a spinner mounted in the center of the CP. I'm trying to decide how many buttons I should have on it, besides the player 1&2 buttons and admin buttons. I'm thinking of having 3 buttons on both sides of the joy and the spinner mounted above the joy. 3 buttons should be plenty for all the old school vert games, right?
* Also planning on calling it Verticade, this was most likley done before but I don't remember seeing it.

if you don't like VANGUARD then 3 buttons should do it.

Damn, I did like Vangaurd, maybe I'll do 4 buttons in a diamond like Vangaurd. Or is that too much? I remember a cool scratch built cab with awesome artwork that was posted that had a cool simple CP layout but I can't find it now. I just remember that he was going to build a bunch of them to sell. The artwork was kinda art deco, incase someone remembers.
*edit- I found the cab, it is called Omnicade, and it wasn't a vert cab, I'm stupid.
