In my ongoing efforts to clean out my workshop (see also this thread (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=47821.0)), I came across this empty bartop arcade cabinet. It's a wood grain cabinet that should fit a 14"-15" decased PC monitor, a 13" TV, or, of course, a 13" arcade monitor. It looks like it used to be a trivia game of some sort, but it would make a nice MAME bartop. The cabinet is in good shape except that it has a small chip near the top back of the cabinet (see third picture), scratches where the control panel swings open, and the monitor shelf could use some stabilization. The coin mech has been sanded down, and could use one last light sanding before repainting.
If you can come pick it up, you can have it for $75 or best offer. Here's some pics:

Hi. Yes, the coin mech still works. As for the age of the cabinet, I'm not sure. I've had it for a couple of years, but I'm not sure what it originally was. It looks similar to some of the late 80's trivia machines, though.

yeah it does look like a quiz machine,
this will look so good once it has been given abit of TLC, any theme will suit it, from street fighter2, too pac-man....
you could have sold this for alot of money, if you just shove a old pc into it and run some old arcade classics of it and give it abit of TLC.... ;)

And that's exactly what the next owner can do! ;D
Any takers? If you're in or around Richmond, I'll even deliver it.

If you weren't 3,000 miles away I'd snag it.
