Frostillicus tutorial is a good place to start. You can download it from the artwork menu found on the main page (http://arcadecontrols.com/arcade.htm).

Lots of good info in the Artwork FAQ thread, which is probably why its stickied to the top of the forum

Also, if you don't have Illustrator (or similar vectoring program) you can always get someone here on the board to do it for you. I am helping out a few people with their vector artwork and I'm sure there are plenty of other people here willing to help. Of course if they don't speak up then I guess it won't help.

I'll speak up. I'm pretty good with Illustrator, I'd be glad to help people if they need it when I have time.

I'm with ya megashock. Just before anyone asks others for help they should realize we do this in our freetime and sometimes we get more work then we can handle and that means waiting lists. :) so just a heads up. :).

Just go slowly...
Illustrator and Freehand can seem confusing, but start small and don't get overwhelmed...

You can get the demo off the Adobe website but finding it free or cheap is what google is for. I prefer to pay for it only because I support Adobe. And version 10 or better would be your best bet.

The FAQ also has topics on software. There are some freeware solutions some seem to use that work just fine.
