Title: IPac2 Function Removal
Post by: chris2922 on December 30, 2005, 08:27:02 am
I am trying to remove a couple of the shifted functions bound to keys using my Ipac2.

I am using the Dos Ipac Utility.

How do i remove a function?

Every time i click an exisiting function to remove, all i can do is change it to another key.

The instructions dont mention how to do this and nor does the website.  Can anyone help please?

Try either the "Scroll Lock" key or the "Pause/Break" key.

Has anyone got any ideas please?  Im going nuts here!!!

Using the "Ctrl-Alt-P" envoked program did the trick.  It allows functions to be removed completely.  It seems the DOS Ipacutil does not.

Thanks for your help.

That is all I ever use now.

The gui's are overkill for the simple job of allocating keys and functions in my opinion

Having used the Ctrl-Alp-P function for a few minutes i realised its much simpler to use than the gui.  I agree, and ill be using it from now on.
Also, what an ingenious solution.
