Title: LED's for player start buttons/coins worth it?
Post by: MrBond on February 04, 2003, 07:23:14 pm
First of all, what do the 3 LED's (Caps Lock, Num Lock, Scroll Lock) in MAME correspond to?  (1 player start, 2 player start, coin?)

How many games use them?

Thanks

Atari was big on those, a bunch of there games use them. You'll have to decide if its worth it to you. I think they look cool when they light up but since most games don't support them it wasn't worth it to me. Maybe someone can post a list of the games that do support them, I don't know if catver can sort them based on LED's.

There are alot of games that use them, for different things.  most use them to indicate when credits have been put in for players. Other games use them to indicate, say a racing game, what gear you are in.
