After tinkering with MameWah for FOREVER, I FINALLY have everything working. The layouts come up, the games list is good, the games launch and play great. However, when I try to switch between emulators, Mamewah goes to a white screen and locks up. When I go into task manager (Win98 SE) Mamewah shows not responding. I end task on it and it goes back to a solid blue desktop with no icons and I have to reboot to get my desktop back. I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. Can anyone give me an idea on what to try next to get this working?
Thanks.

Have you tried it with only one default layout? I suspect there is a problem with your layouts that is locking up mamewah.

Actually this is not a lock up as such...however Mamewah is very slow at switching *large* lists under Windows 98. This has basically always been an issue but with more & more games being added to Mame it is probably more a problem now than ever.
The only workaround is to create custom, smaller lists.
