Well, my first cab was a converted Showcase, this time around I am going the scratchbuilt route...

your best bet is to make a carboard mock up  to see how it looks full size

I like it, very diffrent fron the "2 piece" show case cabs.

Ya just do a cardboard. I think it looks good but the monitor box should be supported safely by abunch of 2x4's (obviously, but some people are that dubm). I say go for it.

EDIT: WOW I spelt dumb wrong. :laugh:
