Title: Player 1+2 Start Exists Game
Post by: chris2922 on December 22, 2005, 05:48:10 pm
On my DOS cab, (player1 start + player2 start) exits the game and returns to ArcadeOS.  I cannot find a way of turning this off.  Anyone know how its done?

I think that's the default escape-key shift combination for the ipac... If you're using one, you can change it with their software.

...or you can set mame to exit a game using a key other than escape.

But reprogramming your ipac would be my first choice.

This happens without my ipac connected, just using the keyboard.
Any ideas?

It's been years since I used arcade os but I seem to remeber that you could quit that FE that way (a setting in arcade os) but that does explain how you could quit a game ?

It's kind of like a wrapper.  Check arcadeos.cfg.  Or do a search, this same question was asked not two weeks ago.
