Title: AIR CON

I have just got this unit but have no idea on what it is, by the look of it, i say a air con but not too sure ???

pls can anyone shed any light onto it and let me know if there want it.......
as it has just been sitting in my back garden for a few days now taking up space which i need back..... ;)

Either its an air conditioning unit or an a/c - heat pump unit combo.

Is it wired into the breaker panel?  How did you get it without knowing what it is?

i work at the market from time to time and the other day my mate came around and needed to empty some of the items from his van and he gave me this anbd said you can sell it.....
think he might have got it from a clearance sale....

there is some sort of pipe covered in this soft tube coming out from oneside and also the wires but these have just been cut off.....

is there any way of telling what it is...

have no idea still only thing i know is that it is a mr slim R407C, and thats it, there is a badge on it with the infrmation about it but most of it has worn away and the only thing you can read is the serial number, which am not sure if i can find ou anything from,
anyway hopefuly sme one will want it of ebay or i probaly will have to chuck it out..... ::)

LOL i did check google but like HooPZ said, how can i tell if it is a a/c unit on its own or a a/c unit and a heat pump.....
very confusing??? ???

wow a question I can actually answer its a condensing unit for a ductless split system, probably cooling only but you can check the nameplate data to see if its a heat-pump (it would have a tab for heat output in Btu/hr)
