Im working on a little bartop mame machine that has an old Pentium II inside and the monitor verticle. I need a program that I can download that will flip windows verticle so I can guide through folders easy instead of having to flip it on its side. Is there such a program?
My PC is a Pentium II running windows 98 with an ATI Rage II with the mach 64 chipset.
If anyone could help I would appreciate it. Thanks :)

Well maybe I wasn't clear enough, Im going to install a PC monitor in this bartop vertically. How would I go about doing that when windows shows up horizontally? Do I need a program or is there other ways to do this?

There is, but they don't work on anything directX or opengl based, so unless you will be running mamewah and mame and only mamewah and mame it won't work.

http://personalcomputing.portrait.com/us/products/pp_tbyb.html you can always give this trial software a go. But howard makes a valid point with directx and opengl. For a free 30 day test, it might be worth checking out to see if it suits your needs. Game On.

Ok I went ahead and added a Geforce 3 that I have to this bartop but now Im having another problem, I have both NVRotate and IRotate but I have no idea what settings Im supposed to use in Mame32 to get the vertical picture and aspect right? Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to set this up when I already have windows desktop turned 90 degrees?

Yeah it's pretty simple actually.... if you intend to keep it vertical and never rotate, simply go into your mame.ini and invert the aspect ratio. (tell it 3:4 instead of 4:3). That should solve all issues. If not you can also try inverting the screen resolution, which is what you must do for most other emulators, front-ends ect....
