Hi and Mame Xmas to all!! ::)
.. please help to make my mamewah screensaver working..
This is my .ini but never happens.. no random games, no slideshow.. I also tried with emusaver but it doesn't works. My purpose is to have the launch_random_game.
I have mamewah 1.61 and mame 32 0.61. This is the best frontend and I miss only this feature. Please help me.

It's been 8 hours only....
Relax just a little. People aren't all on your time schedule and the intarwebs are global. Let people get home from work, tinker, eat dinner, bounce babies on their knees, kiss wives, fall asleep on the couch and get back to their computers...

1st: Are you sure you're on the Mame tab, assuming you're running different emulators. Try this, I've never used run_random_game but I just tried it on my setup and it worked.
Set quit delay to 30 in your mame.ini under mamewah.
Set mamewah.ini to the following:
delay 5
slide duration 3
The only thing I'm doing different than you is I'm not running cpviewer. But I just checked my config for 1.61 and it matches except those settings. Wait 5 seconds and a game should start.

Ok Brophog thanks a lot. I will try this. However I did all the try even without cpviewer and never happens. I tried different combinations of delay, duration...
Sorry Roughy.. I apologize for my pressing request. You're right..
next time I will have more patience. The only reason is that I have internet only at work and today is the last one before the xmas pause. I would like to set my screensaver in christmas days. However you're are right. Will never happens again. :angel:

Perhaps your mamewah log will show something. I was having trouble with mamewah, and the log helped me track down a couple of my problems.

I'm having a similar/maybe related problem with the latest beta of Mamewah. I would set the "saver_type" to "run_random_game" in my mame.ini file, then run mamewah and it would change the setting back to "slideshow" in the mame.ini ??? Mamewah log would only show where it started the slideshow, nothing to indicate why it changed the setting.
I ended up using the "movie" option with the intro videos instead, which works great. ;)
