Title: Get games to fill the PC monitor

I am currently using 1024x768 resolution in mamewah and in windows, the refresh rate is set to 75 on both.  The games all seem to run just fine, but I would like to know if there is a way to get the games to go a little further left and right... and maybe up and down.  I read through the FAQ here and understand that the old games dont normally run on this high of resolution... but I dont understand exactly what resolution has to do with the game orientation on the monitor.

Any help would be great.

eg: What software and OS are you using?

This isn't a software-specific forum.  If you have questions on how a particular piece of software works, you can also try the software makers site, which will often have more specific forums attached.
