Title: Dumbish Monitor Question
Post by: spacecowboy on December 16, 2005, 05:03:49 am
Hi,

I was given a PC monitor to use in my cab (well it was free!).
Its made by Sun Microsystems, not sure of model as I've not looked yet.
Im running GameEx over XP as my front-end atm and trying out a number of MAME emulators (MAME32, AdvanceMame, Windows MAME).
My question is as follows...

When I select a game and its launched, the monitor displays the frequency information for a few seconds and then disapears. Again this happens when I exit the game.  Its annoying and I was wondering if I could get round this or will I have to go out and get a descent screen?

I have the same monitor, and I could never figure it out.

I eventually just went with a real arcade monitor.  But this made a nice monitor in the interim.
