Title: Cabinet kits for sale
Post by: muell67 on December 15, 2005, 10:02:24 pm
well I just typed a real long message but apparently my computer logged me off before I posted it and I lost it all. So here is a summarized version.

I need some cash and I figure the best way to get it is to use what I know. I work in a commercial cabinet shop as a cnc programmer/ draftsman, and I'm going to offer cnc cut cabinets in 3/4" mdf or Part. bd. in your choice of bare core, wood veneer, melamine or laminate
I was planning on offering a tenage mutant ninja turtles style cabinet because I currently own one and can get accurate dimensions, I'm also willing to draw and design custom cabinets based on sketches.

If your not so good at woodworking I can also assemble the cabinets.

For pricing because of the different material costs and assembly cost I will give out individual quotes. Just let me know what I can do for you and I will tell you how much it will cost.

I should have pics of a cut cabinet by the end of next week and for anyone interested this is the type of router I will be using to cut the parts. It can cut a full 5x10 sheet of cabinet parts in under 5 min. http://www.cronsrud.com/144C12.html

Where are you located at so we can get an idea on what shipping would cost?

Thanks,

Out of curiosity, how much does one of those cnc routers go for?

Just as an FYI--and sorry for not tracking it down immediately for you--but there are AutoCAD plans all over the intrawebs for most cabinets.  Should make it A LOT easier to CNC them.

I had found quite a few earlier this summer (when I still had the "earlier this summer PC that is no longer") and was doing some quoting out on making multiple cabinets for re-sale.

Just don't forget the connecting parts!

Don't tease us like that ... any idea how you found them ?

It would certainly cut down on requests for cabinet measurements (and yes, I do remember for those who are waiting on measurements from me!).

Cheers

Nobody would call Jake's collection --MOST-- cabinets, though.
