i am thinking of moving my games into my garage. I live in southern louisiana and am concerned about the heat in the summertime (it gets to about 100 degrees here). Will the games be able to survive the summer and winter months in the garage?

TO quote an old saying.... It isn't the heat it is the humidity. I grew up in MS and I have seen humidity destroy all sorts of things, I would not keep them there unless the room was insulated and A/C.

Don't forget about cabinet damage due to termites, ants, bees, and mice.

It won't get cold enough in LA to freeze it. The heat won't bother it that much.
I shorted out a monitor on a damp day (week). Condensation in the electrix would be the worst problem.

Yep, humidity is the worst thing over the long term. All the metal parts, including the board components, attract moisture and start to corrode. Paint flakes off, exposed metal rusts, particle board swells and disintegrates. Not a good situation.
