What is the best Graphical Frontend Emulator?
List your favorites by rank.
Qualifications: Windows must be in the background only, and cannot be seen when running the frontend. (ie. does not run in a window).
When the emulator is exited, the front end must re-appear on the screen.
Must be keyboard interfaced and a mouse cannot be necessary.
My Pics:
1. GameEx.
2. 3D-Arcade
3. Arcade Epic.

Yes you should set up a Poll...
There is no BEST Fe. They are all Great.
Everyone has different needs.
But for a Vertical Cocktail setup I vote for:
1) Mala
2) Gamelauncher
3) ummmm Nothing

Actually, graphically, it isn't an opinon as it depends upon what the fe is capable of graphically. You can't say which is the "best" but you can say which ones offer the most rendering options and skinning flexibility.
The list is real simple:
1. 3d Arcade (can do anything 2d/3d)
2. The Dragon King or Kymera (can do anything 2d)
3. Everything else (either uses puny gdi rendering or the skin format is too limited in options to be considered graphically powerful)
If you don't agree with this list then either you don't know what the 3 fes mentioned are capable of, or you are simply too much of a fan of the fe you use to admit that it is limited in what it can do graphically.

Don't forget 3D Arcade. I run it vertically, it takes a bit of setting up but well worth the effort.

Yeah :-) I tried that. But my personal taste is a simple FE and 3D arcade can be Processor hungry.
