Title: double dragon 2 video issue
Post by: kjoel0123 on December 08, 2005, 10:37:54 pm
I have 2- double dragon 2 boards,
1 plays with a yellow hue and the other has lines through only the characters and lines only on the right side of the screen about 1 inch wide. I have swapped all removable chips from both board with no success. Monitor works fine with my other jamma games, Any advise is greatly appreciated...  Thank you

is there a test mode that you can put it in?

it might point you to bad roms or ram....

tried the test button? I think Jamma has that, I've been messing with Megatech standard so long I barely remember =)

One thing Ive heard to try is while the game is on, tap some of the socketed roms lightly, could be one of the ROMs legs isnt connected properly.

Tried this with no success, I sent the  other board out for diagnosis as I am stumped, as far as the DD2 board with the yellow hue issue, I am now officially selling it for $20 plus $12 shipping, sound and controls work, just cant seem to resolve the yellow screen issue with this as I am not an expert.
