Title: WTB Arcade cab or monitor with jamma chassis. S/E Region
Post by: Jetto Funk on December 08, 2005, 09:43:29 pm
Looking for a decent cabinet, something like an old street fighter. Would prefer a large monitor 29' but will take a 25 if that's all that's available. Will also take a monitor with jamma chassis by itself.
I'm currently in Iraq but I should be home in January 06. I'm located in Georgia but I'll travel to any of the surrounding states to pick up if it's worth it.

Didn't you sell me a cab before you shipped off?

(It's currently a psx lightgun cab, area 51, timecrisis, point blank, etc)

Um, there is no such thing as a "Jamma chassis". There are JAMMA harnesses though. But wiring a fresh cab takes more than just a monitor and a JAMMA harness.

29" monitors are mythical beasts that only come in imported Japanese machines, you are very unlikely to run into one of them without purposely seeking one out. They tend to be in Candy cabs.

Paige, he's actually looking for a 29' monitor.  Are those mythical as well?

27" and 29" monitors are the same size.

Japanese measures overall tube size and USA measures viewable area.

I have 3 27/29 monitors (1 Super Neo 29 candy cab, 1 d9200, and 1 27" 8liners) and all are the same size.

Yea dude, you came to my house on FT Benning and picked it up right? What's up? I was actually thinking of that cab the other day. How'd you get the monitor to work? That was a really cool machine before some ass stole it from me a few years before you got it.
I'm looking for a candy cab right now, I wana strip it or find a way to rebuild it.
I'm on my way out of Iraq today!
Take it easy and if you know of anyone with that email me shane.yost@us.army.mil
