with an 8" touchscreen, being able to create HUGE buttons is essential.  I had a 14" touchscreen (crt) and ended up not being able to use most of the software out there I wanted because I just couldn't select a the buttons I wanted.

So look at some of the different skinnable jukeboxes that have the basic features you want, then your probably on your own writting that skin.

You will probably also want to decide where your going to use it.  You probably wont be able to read when on the road... especially something that small.  You might want to have cover only selection of the album... Then big letters for the songs...  You don't wnat to be squinting / searching while driving.

I have an 8" Innovatek touch screen and I've had good luck with the TouchTone software.

It is relatively versatile software and has large on-screen buttons. You'll have to buy a license, however.

DOSCab/WinCab Jukebox has complete customizability as far as button sizes, but it's CD mode isn't particularly stable as it's primarily designed as a singles jukebox.  Could be worth a look, though.   http://webpages.charter.net/celamantia/jukebox

I'd say WINCAB is great, if only it supported Win98 :)
