Hi,
I am working on a mame project and I recently had my k7000 recaped. When i have it hooked to the mk2 pcb it works fine and doesnt wobble or anything. But I have xp running with avga+jpac. i get wobbles constantly. I have tried running mame in 640x480,640x288 and set default refresh rate at 60 and still i get wobbles. The image and color quality is great but the screen jumps horizontaly slightly. Its more noticable from a bit of a distance. Does anyone else have a k7000 and have figured out how to fix this? Am i running in the correct refresh rate for this monitor? (60)? Thanks for any suggestions.

Try running 640x240.
288 is 50hz, and 480 is 60hz interlaced...
I've used both a 19 and 25" 7000 with the avga and they both have very good pictures.
Also, are you using a shielded vga cable to go to the jpac?
Is you monitor grounded to the cabinet ground?
How about the computer? Grounded plug to earth ground?
Just a few things to try.
Later,

Can any WG7000 series be hooked up to a standard VGA card?
