Title: Suggestion for turning on Games
Post by: fredster on December 06, 2005, 02:25:59 pm
I found a solution to turning on and off games quickly.

This time of year they make a remote control for outside Christmas lights.  They go for $10-$15 bucks.  You plug it into the wall with a 3 split on it, plug in 3 games.

The remote has a 50' range so you can just set it on a table and *click* all the games turn on.

It's not good to turn on a whole bank of games at the same time, but 3 at a time is okay.  The units usually carry up to 1500 watts on one so it can run multiple games.

Look for them in the Christmas light section.  Like I said, they only sell them this time of year.

I have one, they're pretty good for what Fred describes... just don't try to use more than, oh, three games on any given unit.  They're not made for huge sudden draw.

Lowe's sells something similar year-round.  It's a remote control from GE.  I have one in my Super Pac MAME.
