Title: General Software Design
Post by: flyguy1821 on December 05, 2005, 01:21:35 pm
Trying to find some software that will enable me to design my game room as well as cabinet designs etc.  I want to be able to input different pictures or create my own to design an entire room for a "plan".  I have no idea where to start with this.  I have a Dell with windows XP OS now.  Any help appreciated.

I use Visio to do such things, kinda expensive though.

Perhaps you could try QCad, and I think it's free

I've been playing with Sketchup (http://www.sketchup.com/?section=product) a bit lately. It's pretty intuitive (once you get the hang of it), and really nice for quick mock-ups.
