Heya guys.. I have two mechs here that just dont work - they dont accept coins, but they dont reject them either... they get

Here it is from the other side...
Top being coin, second being metal thing pushed/pulled to drop coin

you probably need to adjust that screw (the one that lifts up the MAGNET) just a tad. This is a square right on dead center on the front.
It maybe to tight so any coins don't go thru. This determines the COIN THICKNESS and holds on to METAL SLUGS. Or maybe you have a piece of metal stuck already there, you need to clean it up.

The mech is doing what it's supposed to be doing. Those things don't use power. They are purely mechanical. They are supposed to catch bad/wrong coins and when you push the coin reject button, it releases the coin back into the return slot.
Follow the above advice.

A mechanical coin mechanism (coin chute to us old farts) MUST BE KEPT CLEANED, POLISHED, AND LEVEL in order to work properly. You must also use the correct coins that the particular unit is designed for.
The cradle must pivot easily. It's only held on the shaft with a very tiny e-ring so you'd need a jeweler's screwdriver to pop it off. Don't lose that little e-ring since it's metric and you would never find that size at a hardware store.

Okay guys il take a look later on thanks =)
I thought there was something wrong because my other Coin Controls mech just automatically rejects - no need to push the button... Guess I haven't had much experience with coin mechs yet
