Hi over there!
Anyone knows where they put the loudspeakers in the old 80's cabs? I don't want it like in DonkeyKong, where the music goes to your knees, but wonder if they simply hide the speakers behind the marquee (wouldn't sound that good I guess!), or did they had a speaker grill facing downwards from the marquee to the monitorsection?
I haven't seen such speaker grills on those 80's cab except the Donkey Kong one, but it's quite some time ago that I've seen such a beauty.

By the way, my homepage finally features the very first pictures of woodworking! Only the sides, but at least it's moving on! :D

Most of them (that I've seen) have them behind the marquee facing down, and grilles on the underside of the marquee box-area right above the monitor.

Ah, thanx, then I'll keep my plans of placing them there! :D Very fast answer, I'm impressed :)

some have them in the marquee facing out with holes in the marquee too. My double dragon has the speakers mounted like I have for my home built cab (see sig)
