Title: Monitor scrolling
Post by: kjoel0123 on December 03, 2005, 08:44:40 am
I have a street fighter 2 hyper game in a ultimate mortal kombat 3 arcade, mk3 plays fine , but my sf2 game screen constantly scrolls, all control work fine, picture quality is good. I have disconnected the kick harness, screen still scrolls, Could this be a grounding issue with the board or a sync issue with the monitor?

Also several other jamma games that I have do not have this scrolling issue

My cabinet uses a standard jamma connector with a 19" arcade monitor, any ideas, please help, thanks..

You tried adjusting the Vertical Hold control, right?

Was just thinking that.  WTH does the kick harness have to do with video signal?

Different game boards generate slightly different sync & video signals which sometimes require adjusting the monitor between different game boards.

Of course this is assuming that both gameboards are properly operating.
