http://www.jakobud.com/ say 23".  IIRC that's what my pacman control panel is too, so I'd send out an email to arcadegames4u asking if they are *sure* it's 24-3/4".

My Galaga is 24 11/16" wide (outside edge to outside edge). Inside edge to inside edge is 23 1/16". CP and marquee are 23".

I would check with them, but I'll bet you'll be OK -- I expect the melamine coating is going to account for that 'extra' 1/16"
