Title: (ALL LUSID CAB OWNERS) need help dieciding the CP design for Lusid CAB
Post by: bossyman15 on December 02, 2005, 08:35:43 pm: now i'm building 4 player CP with spinner, trackball and i want the flight sick so i could play tron and other games...

this CP are just like this guy's http://www.ogredog.com/mame_cp_construction.htm with pinball feature of this CP

but when i think about it... it might not look good on LuSID cab but will it? (its hard for me to image it in my head)

so am i kinda stuck if i want this CP desgin?

Post by: Jabba on December 02, 2005, 09:22:14 pm: I based my design on Lusids....Here are a couple of pics on how I modified the CP design for my purposes... (BTW: I hated the hinge idea. My kids were always getting in there and messing things up. I went with real CP clamps...)

Post by: AtomSmasher on December 02, 2005, 09:56:34 pm: I made a two player Lusid cab and the first thing that come to mind when you mention everything you want on your cp is the standard Lusid cp is too small. You'll need to extend the sides out and possibly make it deeper. It shouldn't be too hard to do and if done right could look good.

I have already build the lusid cab and cut out the 4 slot coin door and I also have the coin door on hand.

Well I will have to make it work with what I have now...

Damn near every noob on this site at one time or another either built or thought about building a 4-player LuSiD cab.
