Title: PSP link up problem
Post by: Franco on December 02, 2005, 11:09:05 am
Me and a friend just tried to set up a link up game on Ridge Racer but it would not work. We both tried hosting a game but the other PSP could not find a game to join. We also both tried the game sharing option but that wouldn't work either. We also tried setting our PSP's to the same channel still with no luck. He was running from the original disc whilst I was running of an .iso on my memory stick, I dont know if this was the problem. The only other thing I could think of is that I am running v1.5 whilst he is runing v2.0. Do you think this is the cause? I have a Jap PSP whilst he has a UK one but I don't think that that would matter.

Silly question, but are the PSP's named differently in their config?

Do you mean the Nickname in system settings? I think mine is the default one (PSP655). I imagine my friends is set at the default too. If they are the same could this be the problem?

Did you get my PM btw Goz?

Yeah the names need to be unique.

And yes thanks I got the PM as well.
