Hi,
-
More...
-
Looks like I may have the old Wells Gardner type. I bought the reject buttons on this site to see if they fit:

for $20.00 you spent on that, you could have gotten one from me for the same price and it comes with .25 cents coin mechs (Complete but not an over/under door). I was selling this for more before. Here is the link/pics.

Anyway, if interested in any .25 cents coin mechs, just LMK.

The picture you show of your coin door is a COINCO (a.k.a. Coin Acceptors) brand. It is model 2812 with the old style RED reject buttons (not the same as the Coin Controls/Wells-Gardner---those are metric).
The reject buttons for your door are only made in red color and are getting hard to find. Coinco bailed out of the coin door manufacturing biz about ten years ago which is too bad because they made a great coin door. I think Betson and the Great Amusement Emporium still carry some parts for them.
As to coin chutes for your door, Happ Controls # 42-3079-00 and 42-3050-00 will work perfectly.

Thanks Ken! That was some excellent info

This looks like the reject button I need:
Betson Part No 91-1113-01
-
Ok, got the reject buttons today from Betson and they fit great. I also got my T3 1/4 Wedge Socket from Happ using the item:
42-0351-00 LAMPHOLDER,F/PLASTIC MECH HOLDER
If anyone is interested in getting LEDs from Happ that will fit that socket, here is the part number:
91-10WB-123R LED T3 1/4 WEDGE BASE 12VDC 3 CHIP RED
However, superbrightleds.com has a better selection.
I wired one of the sockets into my PC power last night and the LED glows a superbright red. I am using a 4 cluster RED LED. As soon as I get the mechs in, I'll wire up the coin switches to accept coins. I also ordered new springs for the reject button assembly from Bob Roberts. They should come sometime Saturday or Monday.
-
Installed LEDs and hooked them up to PC power. Very bright! They go good with the new red reject button assembly.
-
As you can see, I just moved the old incandescent bulb sockets out of the way to make room for the superbright LEDs!
Still waiting on the coin mechs to arrive sometime soon.

The sockets are held on the side glue. I used a craft hot glue gun. Worked out pretty good since there wasn't a good place for them to hang. They are normally used on the Happ doors.
