We've already got a BYOACer working on a Screen Saver version :D

That's a pretty cool idea. It would have been nice if it weren't so "mechanical". Who moves their paddle ONLY when the ball is coming and without oversteering occasionally. This could have been simulated.

It's a cool screensaver though.

Anyone seen the screensaver from the site? It says it'll be available in December, but I didn't see it on their site...

I'm holding out for RayB's version.

I guess I never noticed how his name sounds if you say it out loud. :D

If you say that phrase in the voice of Ike from South Park, it is like 5 jokes in 1.

Actually, "Rabies" used to be my handle on boards and chatrooms back in the day... But I got sick of idiots saying "watch out, we'll catch rabies!"

Of course now the major idiots here know, so we'll start saying "watch out, you'll catch RayB's". ;)

Not so bad. It's a shame they put their name on the bottom part, kind of takes away from the look. Overall, not bad. The players are a little too precise - me, I'm all over the place when I try to block the ball...

Can't wait to see RayB's version.

The clock has now been released in limited quantity, signed by the artist....

....$199 euros.

$240 is a bit rich for me, however cool extra feature is that you can play against the computer and then switch back to clock mode.

RayB, any word on your version? I'm thinking an old gutted laptop w/LCD mounted in a smoked plexi enclosure would do the trick...

It kinda lost its momentum. I suppose I can still finish it. But they have their screensaver out now and that's basically what I was making (a software version, not an actual physical clock!)

I don't know flash programming at all so I'll ask those more inclined than I...

How do you make it run "all the time" rather than as a screen saver?

Can you turn a flash .swf into an executable so that it does not require flash to be installed or rather it compiles the player into the executable?

Does that make sense?

Flash can compile an EXE with the player built in.

They're asking about yours, though, because the one that company put out seems to have their logo on it.

Nice to see this is a Dutch idea and product :) It looks very cool indeed.
However, playing Pong with PUSHBUTTONS !?!?!?! We've been there and done that, freaking impossible.

This asks for a BYOCC (Build Your Own Clock Controls) project to add a proper spinner ;););) !!!
