Title: anyone running mortal kombat 4 on their cabs via N64?

any one used their regular control panel to run fighters such as mortal kombat 4 which are running via n64 emulation?

If so,

What was the outcome like - configuring analogue controls to a digital keyboard encoder/joystick?

i use the pc version of mk4.....  if i were to use a console version, i'd use the psx one which had nicer cgi cutscenes/endings

it doesn't matter as you would be running it emulated
