I have a Aero City cab with a NANAO 26" monitor that doesn't shoot green for the first couple of hours that it is turned on. After a substantial warm up period (about 3hrs or more) it shoots green and the picture is bareable. Prior to this warm up period adjustments made to the POT (green) make no difference. Adjustments made after the 3hr waiting time work great. Another issue during this warm up period is that you can not turn up the brightness without it losing sync. Changes made post warm up seem to work fine.
I'm assuming the issue is the chasis, has anyone else seen a similar problem like this?
Any ideas where I can get a chasis repaired or acquire a new one?
I am currently using this cab for my vertical shmups and would hate to have to leave it on 24 x 7 for the occasional game.
THanks in advance for any insight / thoughts,

Shoot joey from jomac an email (if you haven't already) he seems to be the defacto expert on the nanao's. Sad thing is that if this tube is like the one my buddy had--you won't even be able to buy a replacement chassis for it (unless its another nanao)

Try the usual suspects, caps and cold solder joints.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have already checked the solder joints and gone over the thing with a meter. The green POT makes no diff until the warm up has taken place. (no change on the meter). Two friends (Dave_K, and Tbombaci) have also gone over the monitor and it just doesn't make a lot of sense to have it act this way or for a warm up take 3+ hrs. I will try Joey and see what he thinks.
Thanks

When I looked at it, I was expecting to find something shorted (I thought it would intermittantly work when you bump the cab around). Since it sounds like its just a warm up thing, a cap kit would probably fix it. See what Joey thinks.
