I gave that game a shot for a few mins, but didn't really like it.  Maybe I'll give it another shot.

I play Lumines, RR, and GTA the most right now. The new Need for Speed is getting great reviews and I'd consider it over RR or Burnout Legends if you only plan to spring for one driving game.

I also have Untold Legends and Mercury but I'm not sure I'd call 'em most wanted. I'm off-and-on with Wipeout.

My planned next buys if I can spare the cash (man this toy is expensive!): SOCOM, NFS, Battefront II, and/or MGA.

I find it hilarious that every time new hardware comes out, the list of "must get" games is pretty much the same.

How many platforms do people need to play GTA on anyway?

While I partially agree, the story is what grabs me in GTA, and I like playing a "new" GTA even if it is the same basic premise.  There are only so many game types out there... who cares if its in the same "universe" or not.

It's like saying I'm sick of playing Platform games because they are all pretty much the same.  If you like them.. you play them... even if they are fundamentally similar.  The fact that they are all GTA games doesn't matter to me.. its the experience I like, and a new city with new missions is enough to get me hooked again.

This is the first GTA I've played on any platform (not counting GTA2 which I still play on the PSX). I'm liking it alot, but to me it's novel. If I'd played the PS2 games, I probably would not have bought this new one. Despite that, it's still the Gamespot #1 and is often listed as the single best game for the PSP right now.

That said, yeah, I do sometimes feel like I'm buying the same software over and over again on each successive platform. How many Tetris' do I own now?

Then again, I bought Microsoft Word in 1988 and I'm not 100% sure why I've had to keep buying it over and over again all through the years but they tell me I have too!  ;D
