Title: Windows boot up screen question
Post by: sealslayer on November 26, 2005, 08:13:27 am
As standard when XP Loads you get the windows loading screen in black with the small line at the bottom scrolling across then it goes into the windows screen before the actual desktop loads up, is it possible to remove these screens or modify them with my own pictures or screen image, i.e Mame now loading etc?

Try this:-

Also I'll try and find the link to a site that has a Mame logo to put on this.

Here's the link:-

Ahh fantastic, thanks very much, lastly is it possible to change or completley lose the screen that follows after the boot up screen?
Its the screen that says welcome just before it goes into the windows desktop.

Theres several ways:-

At the same website as the link above they have a program called logonxp or some such, it does the same job as the other program but for the welcome screen.

Also there was a thread knocking around here awhile ago called something like win xp tweaks, I'm sure that had a guide on how to turn the welcome screen black.
