Apparently target made a misprint on their website advertising the DS at $99. They have said they will honor (till december 12th) the price if a copy of the web-ad is presented while making the purchase.

Nice! I'll get my cheap ass to Target today!
-
The Target stores close to me were all sold out, Best Buy said they'd match the price for me but were sold out. I hear Circuit City is matching the price if you can show it to them from Target's online catalog (http://catalog.target.com/december/default.aspx?action=browsepageflash&storeid=2413636&promotioncode=target-051121-DECEMB&pagenumber=1&swfdir=%2fkidscatalog%2fflash%2ftoycatalog%2f&versionnum=1.4) and their also bundling a sh'tty game with it. I'll give CC a try today, these make excellent Christmas gifts.

I just got back from Target with one of my daughters Christmas presents :) I had no problem getting them to honor the deal. I was polite, patient, and calm. I told them they could check the website themselves from the kiosk if they had a question about my printout. They said there was no need and gave it to me at $99.99........one gift down many more to go :)
Edit: I just got back from Circuit City where they price matched the DS with no questions asked, I just showed them my Target reciept. Now I have one silver and one electric blue DS.........my wife is gonna kick my @$$ :)

They must have removed the ad completely on thrie site becuase I cannot find it by typing in DS or even Nintendo DS. Does anyone have a screen capture that says In-Store only?? I have tons of Besy Buy Rewards and would love to pick one up for my son, since Best Buy will price match.
*** EDIT: Never mind I figured it out ****

Just found a url to a scan of the actual catalog

Print that puppy out and screen cap of online and you should be good to go.

I just swung by Circuit City and picked up two (one silver and one blue) and a copy of Mario Kart! Now I just have to wait until Christmas to play, or until my wife caves in and wears her Christmas present first!
It's still $99 on the Target site, but it's not in their regular product listing, it's in the weekly ad/holiday catalog. From the Target.com home page, click on 'Weekly Ad' in the top left of the page, then enter your zip code (if you haven't already), then click on 'Holiday December Catalog' and search for 'nintendo' or 'ds'.

i still thinks it's cheaper on ebay or going used for the price. i think i'm going with the mk bundle for $150 because it's a way cool red with the special stickers.

I think that the Target Catalog was sent via mail. That's how I got mine. The wife just went to Best Buy and returned the one we bought a little over a month ago (X-mas present), and "re-bought" it back. Got the difference back in store credit. Anyone need a copy of the catalog? I'll see if I can mail you the page itself.

The catalog is still online, though they took the link down. You can still get to it here (http://catalog.target.com/december/default.aspx?action=browsepageflash&storeid=2413636&promotioncode=target-051121-DECEMB&pagenumber=1&swfdir=%2fkidscatalog%2fflash%2ftoycatalog%2f&versionnum=1.4).
