Man that's a nice cabinet. What's wrong with it?
Looks like it's complete with boards and all.
I would bring that back to life instead of MAMEing it.

Yeah, this thing is a beast.  The board is dead.  Not sure what it was before, it appears to be a conversion type cab.  It is a Dynamo cab.

No offense to all of the Big Buck Hunter fans out there but no issues with tearing it apart.  Not what I would call a classic.

Anyway, hope some recomendations come along.

Mame it. Hunting games are lame.

A 49way stick is a 49way stick, an Ikari warriors stick is an ls-30, a yellow topped 8 way stick with a mechanical rotary piece underneath which allows you to spin your guy in all directions as well as moving him around the screen. It has limited use. You can get a mechanical rotary hack on a 49way stick... that may be where the confusion has come in.

The 49way requires the GPwiz49 from Groovy Game Gear, which is a gamepad encoder with support for an additional controller or buttons.

The ls-30 (ikari stick) requires a druins encoder to convert the rotary controllers signal to key presses.
